📌 INTRODUCTION

In a significant breakthrough, the staff of PS Fatehpur Beri, South District, has cracked a farmhouse godown burglary case within 24 hours, resulting in the arrest of four accused persons and recovery of stolen property worth approximately ₹50 lakh.

The recovered property includes premium branded watches, bags, perfumes, personal-care products, electronic items, decorative articles and other valuable goods stolen from a farmhouse being used as a godown.

👮 POLICE TEAM

A dedicated team comprising SI Nasib Singh, ASI Harender Kumar, HC Rakesh Kumar, HC Vijender Singh, HC Naveen, HC Subhash and Ct. Om Parkash was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Jai Bhagwan, SHO/PS Fatehpur Beri, under the close supervision of Ms. Yogita Sharma, ACP/Mehrauli.

🔍 INVESTIGATION

On 07.09.2026, information was received regarding a burglary at Farmhouse No. 31, Ratnalaya Farm, Triveni Road, Gadaipur, which was being used as a godown by the complainant’s business.

The police team immediately inspected the spot and got the scene scientifically examined. CCTV footage from the surrounding area was extensively analysed, while local intelligence and technical inputs were simultaneously developed.

Through sustained investigation and field surveillance, the police team identified the suspects and apprehended four accused persons, while one person was bound down.

The accused were apprehended from different locations in the Sultanpur/Mandi area. During interrogation, their involvement in the burglary came to light, leading to the recovery of stolen articles from their possession and concealed locations.

🧠 MODUS OPERANDI

The accused allegedly targeted the farmhouse godown when it was unattended. They gained entry by breaking the rear-side window and locks of the rooms, removed valuable articles and subsequently concealed the stolen property at different locations to avoid detection and facilitate disposal.

1. Irshad, S/o Riyaz Ahmad, R/o Sultanpur, New Delhi, Age 24 years.
Previous involvement: FIR No. 237/2023 U/s 392/411/34 IPC.

2. Pintu, S/o Sarju Ram, R/o Sultanpur, New Delhi, Age 26 years.
Previous involvement: FIR No. 98/2019 U/s 354-D IPC.

3. Mithun Kumar, S/o Jagdish Bhagat, R/o Sultanpur, New Delhi, Age 24 years.
Previous involvement: 01 case.
He works as the delivery agent and mastermind of the whole incident.
4. Amjad, S/o Md. Akhtar, R/o Mandi Village, New Delhi, Age 26 years.
Previous involvement: Nil.

5. Wazir Ahmad, S/o Aziz Ahmad, R/o Mandi Road, Sultanpur, New Delhi, Age 87 years.
Bound Down.

✅ CONCLUSION

The swift response, extensive CCTV analysis, technical inputs and sustained field efforts of PS Fatehpur Beri resulted in the arrest of four accused persons and recovery of stolen property worth approximately ₹50 lakh within 24 hours.
