पुलिस की ERV टीम ने नाइट पेट्रोलिंग के दौरान मोबाइल स्नैचिंग करते हुए दो आरोपियों को पकड़ा।

✅ स्कूटी थाना ख्याला में दर्ज चोरी के मामले से जुड़ी पाई गई
पुलिस के अनुसार, दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ पहले भी स्नैचिंग, लूट, चोरी और आर्म्स एक्ट से जुड़े मामले दर्ज हैं।

1. BRIEF OF INCIDENT
On 11.10.2026, during night patrolling, ERV staff comprising ASI Ramavtar, HC Gajanand and HC Vinit were patrolling their assigned area. When they reached Guru Ravidas Marg, near BLK Hospital Bus Stop, they noticed two persons riding a TVS NTORQ scooty snatching a mobile phone from a Zomato delivery boy and attempting to flee from the spot.
Acting swiftly, the alert ERV staff intercepted the scooty and apprehended both suspects after they fell from the vehicle. The snatched Xiaomi mobile phone was recovered from their possession. The scooty was found to be without a number plate and was subsequently identified as a stolen vehicle in a case registered at PS Khyala, West District, Delhi.
2. TEAM AND OPERATIONS
The prompt and coordinated action of the ERV staff during night patrolling resulted in the apprehension of both accused at the spot. Subsequently, the investigation was taken up by ASI Joharilal along with Ct. Rajesh of PS Prasad Nagar.
The team acted promptly, recovered the snatched mobile phone and seized the scooty used in the commission of the offence. Information regarding the recovery of the stolen scooty was also communicated to PS Khyala, West District, for necessary action.
3. ACCUSED ARRESTED

R/o Uttam Nagar, West Delhi, Delhi.
2. Samarjeet Singh @ Sahibjeet @ Sabby
R/o Janak Puri, West Delhi, Delhi.
Both accused were apprehended at the spot and subsequently arrested in the present case.
4. INTERROGATION
During the course of the investigation, the involvement of both accused in the present snatching case was established on the basis of the circumstances of their apprehension and the recovery effected. The scooty used in the commission of the offence was found to be stolen from the area of PS Khyala, West District.
Both accused have multiple previous involvements in criminal cases, including snatching, robbery, theft and offences under the Arms Act. Further investigation is in progress to ascertain their involvement in other criminal cases and identify any additional associates.

6. DISCLOSURE
The accused allegedly operated as a team of two and used two-wheelers to commit snatching and robbery in Delhi/NCR. The scooty recovered in the present case was found to be stolen from the area of PS Khyala. Further investigation is being conducted to ascertain their involvement in other cases and trace any additional links.

- One TVS NTORQ scooty without a number plate, found to be stolen in E-MVT FIR No. 23377/2026, PS Khyala, West District, Delhi.
