दिल्ली के North-East District में PS Gokalpuri पुलिस ने बाइक चोरी के मामले में आरोपी Mohit Tomar Rahul (28) को गिरफ्तार किया है।

पुलिस के अनुसार, यह कार्रवाई मोटरसाइकिल चोरी के मामले की जांच के दौरान मिली विशेष सूचना के आधार पर की गई।

AUTO-LIFTING CASE SOLVED BY PS GOKALPURI; ACCUSED ARRESTED, ONE BUTTON-ACTUATED KNIFE AND THREE STOLEN MOTORCYCLES RECOVERED*

During the investigation of e-FIR No. 0024609/26 dated 10.10.2026, registered under Section 305(b) BNS at PS Gokalpuri regarding motorcycle theft, a dedicated team led by Inspr. Umed Singh, SHO/PS Gokalpuri, comprising HCs Vijay Partap, Anuj and Rohit, and Ct. Parveen, developed vital information and identified the suspected auto-lifter.

On 11.10.2026, at about 10:25 PM, acting on specific information, the police team laid a trap near Kuda-Khatta on Nala Road and apprehended the suspect. One button-actuated knife and the stolen motorcycle were recovered from his possession. The accused was identified as Mohit Tomar @ Rahul (28 years), S/o Narender Tomar, R/o Gali No. 3, Shiv Vihar, Karawal Nagar, Delhi.

Consequently, a separate case vide FIR No. 257/26 dated 11.10.2026 under Section 25 of the Arms Act was registered at PS Gokalpuri, and further investigation was taken up.

During sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed his involvement in the theft of two more motorcycles. At his instance, both motorcycles, stolen from the areas of PS Sadar Bazar and PS New Usmanpur, were recovered. Verification further revealed that the accused had previously been involved in 12 cases relating to robbery, theft and the Arms Act.
