दिल्ली के बुराड़ी में ड्रग्स सप्लाई नेटवर्क के खिलाफ एंटी-नारकोटिक्स सेल की बड़ी कार्रवाई! पुलिस ने फॉलो-अप ऑपरेशन में 321 ग्राम अतिरिक्त हेरोइन बरामद की और तीन अन्य लोगों को पकड़ा, जिनमें पति-पत्नी भी शामिल हैं। इस मामले में कुल छह लोगों को पकड़ा गया है। कुल बरामदगी में हेरोइन, कोकीन और एमडीएमए शामिल हैं।

दिल्ली पुलिस की एंटी-नारकोटिक्स सेल ने ड्रग्स सप्लाई नेटवर्क की जांच के दौरान बुराड़ी में फॉलो-अप ऑपरेशन किया। पुलिस के मुताबिक, इस कार्रवाई में 321 ग्राम अतिरिक्त हेरोइन बरामद की गई और तीन अन्य लोगों को पकड़ा गया, जिनमें एक पति-पत्नी भी शामिल हैं।

TOTAL APPREHENSIONS IN THE CASE RISE TO 06, INCLUDING ONE CHILD IN CONFLICT WITH LAW (CCL).
TOTAL RECOVERY IN THE CASE REACHES 411 GRAMS OF HEROIN, 22.1 GRAMS OF COCAINE AND 15.3 GRAMS OF MDMA.
SHIV SHANKAR @ GELLA FOUND PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 06 CRIMINAL CASES; SUPPLY CHAIN AND FINANCIAL LINKS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
In continuation of the previous brief regarding the apprehension of accused persons and recovery of narcotic substances, further investigation in the case led to another major recovery of heroin and the apprehension of three more persons involved in the alleged drug supply network.
BACKGROUND:
On 12.10.2026, based on reliable information the team Anti-Narcotics Cell, North District apprehended two drug suppliers namely Acche Babu and Zahid, from near the foot over bridge on Ring Road, Kashmere Gate. At their instance 16.4 grams of cocaine and 90 grams of smack (heroin) were recovered. During further investigation, at their instances another Nigerian national drug supplier namely Cajethan was also apprehended from the area of Mehrauli, Delhi on 13.10.2026. His apprehension led to the recovery of 5.7 grams of cocaine and 15.3 grams of MDMA (COMMERCIAL QUANTITY).
TEAM:
The police team continued the operation against other accused persons involved in the drugs supplying. In order to unearth the whole chain behind this racket, a dedicated team comprising SI Jagbir, SI Parveen, SI Ayush Bajaj, ASI Vijay, HC Sanjay, HC Manjeet, HC Lekhraj , HC Saurav, Rahul and Ct. Dinesh was formed under the supervision of Insp. Ashish Dubey (I/C Anti-Narcotics cell/North) and guidance of Sh. Vishesh Dhatterwal, ACP/Operations/North.
OPERATION & INVESTIGATION:
During further investigation of FIR No. 464/2026 under Sections 21/29 of the NDPS Act, PS Kashmere Gate, the team apprehended a child in conflict with law (CCL) from Amrit Vihar, Burari on 18.10.2026 at the instance of accused Achche Babu, who was on police custody remand, and on the basis of secret information. Investigation indicated that the CCL was allegedly selling smack (heroin) at the directions of Shiv Shankar @ Gella and his wife. The CCL further disclosed that heroin was allegedly stored at their residence at The Hill Apartments, Shakti Enclave, Burari, Delhi.
Acting swiftly on this information, the team conducted a raid at the identified premises, leading to the recovery of 321 grams of heroin. Subsequently, Shiv Shankar @ Gella, aged 26 years, resident of Pinky Chaudhary Colony, West Kamal Vihar, Burari, Delhi and his wife were apprehended in connection with the case.
INTRERROGATION:
During interrogation, Shiv Shankar @ Gella and his wife, disclosed that they had procured the recovered contraband from other persons. They further stated that the CCL was allegedly involved in selling and supplying narcotic substances. These disclosures are being verified as part of the ongoing investigation.
Verification of criminal records revealed that Shiv Shankar @ Gella has six previous criminal involvements at different police stations in Delhi, relating to attempt to murder, attempt to commit culpable homicide, offences under the NDPS Act, hurt and theft. He is also a listed Bad Character (BC) of PS Burari.
