Staff of PS Preet Vihar busted a narcotics supply chain operating in East District.
Three accused persons arrested, including one Nigerian national and one Kenyan national.
Recovery of approximately 11 grams of MDMA and 61 grams of ganja.

BRIEF: -
In a significant breakthrough against narcotics trafficking, staff of Police Station Preet Vihar, East District has successfully busted a drug supply chain and arrested three accused persons involved in the illegal sale and distribution of narcotic substances. The operation led to the recovery of MDMA, ganja, cash suspected to be drug sale proceeds, and two scooters. The arrests and recoveries mark an important success in East District Police’s ongoing campaign against drug peddling and organized narcotics networks.

TEAM & OPERATION: -
To curb drug trafficking and illegal sale of narcotic substances, the staff of PS Preet Vihar had been maintaining a close watch on suspicious persons and activities in the area. In pursuance of the Zero Tolerance Policy against drug trafficking, a dedicated team comprising SI Krantiveer, SI Shivam, HC Ravinder, HC Naveen and Ct. Anubhav was constituted under the supervision of SHO/Preet Vihar and overall supervision of ACP/Preet Vihar to develop intelligence and take effective action against persons involved in narcotics-related activities.
Acting on sustained surveillance and local intelligence, the police team conducted a raid near QUBA Café, Preet Vihar, Delhi, where one accused namely Aaftab, aged 19 years, was apprehended. During his search, six packets containing MDMA were recovered from his possession. The recovered substance was tested on the spot and found positive for MDMA, with a total weight of approximately 3 grams. After completing legal formalities, the contraband was seized and a case vide FIR No. 190/2026 U/s 22 NDPS Act, PS Preet Vihar was registered. During sustained interrogation, accused Aaftab disclosed that he had procured the recovered MDMA from one Lucky, a Nigerian national. Acting swiftly on this lead, the police team conducted further investigation and apprehended accused Lucky. During his search, ten packets containing approximately 8 grams of MDMA were recovered from his possession and seized in accordance with law. Further investigation led the police team to the residence of accused Lucky and his associate Abongo Kennedy Odayo, a Kenyan national. During the search of the premises, approximately 61 grams of ganja and cash amounting to ₹1,37,600/-, suspected to be proceeds of drug trafficking, were recovered and seized. The police team also recovered one Honda Activa scooter bearing registration number DL-3SFN-* from accused Lucky and one Honda Activa scooter bearing registration number DL-14SX-* from accused Aaftab. Verification regarding ownership and possible involvement of the recovered vehicles in criminal activity is being carried out. With the arrest of the three accused persons and recovery of narcotic substances, cash and vehicles, the staff of PS Preet Vihar has successfully dismantled a narcotics supply chain operating in the area. Further investigation is in progress to identify the source of procurement, intended recipients, financial trail, and backward and forward linkages of the network.
