* PERSISTENT FIELD ENQUIRIES, LOCAL INTELLIGENCE GATHERING, AND TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE LED TO THE ACCUSED'S ARREST AND RECOVERY OF THE MOTORCYCLE.

BRIEF OF THE INCIDENT:

On 06.04.2026, a complaint regarding criminal breach of trust by an employee was received at PS Nabi Karim. The complainant, a resident of Ranjeet Nagar, Patel Nagar, Delhi, alleged that his employee had dishonestly taken away a motorcycle entrusted to him for official duties along with a cash amount of ₹20,000/- and thereafter absconded.

The entrusted motorcycle was a Hero Passion Pro bearing registration No. DL4SDG-**. The incident pertained to October 2025. Based on the complaint, e-FIR No. 07701/2026 dated 06.04.2026 was registered at PS Nabi Karim and investigation was taken up.



TEAM AND OPERATION:

Considering the gravity of the offence, a dedicated team comprising HC Pritam and HC Udham, under the supervision of SHO PS Nabi Karim and overall supervision of ACP Paharganj, was constituted to trace and apprehend the offender.

During investigation, the complainant was examined in detail. It was revealed that the accused, Roushan Kumar Singh, had been employed by the complainant and was entrusted with collection-related duties. In the course of his employment, he was entrusted with the aforesaid motorcycle and a sum of ₹20,000/- for official work.

After allegedly misappropriating the entrusted property and cash, the accused absconded. As no permanent address of the accused was available, sustained efforts were undertaken through local intelligence development, technical surveillance, and extensive field enquiries to trace his whereabouts.

The team conducted an exhaustive search operation and questioned nearly multipls persons across multiple locations while developing leads and verifying information. Despite initial setbacks, the team continued its efforts relentlessly.

On 19.06.2026, the team received specific information regarding the presence of a person matching the description of the accused in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Acting swiftly on the input, the team reached Sector-50 Central Market, Noida, and conducted a raid. The accused was identified by the complainant and successfully apprehended. The entrusted motorcycle was also recovered from his possession.

* Presently engaged in running a fast-food rehri



INTERROGATION:

During interrogation, the accused disclosed that he developed a dishonest intention to misappropriate the motorcycle and cash entrusted to him by his employer.

He further revealed that the cash amount had already been spent.
