ONE THIEF WHO STEALS THE VAULABLES OF INNOCENT PEOPLE BY DRUGGING, ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF PP ISBT, PS KASHMERE GATE HE TARGETS THE INNOCENT PEOPLE VISITING DELHI FROM OTHER STATES. THE ACCUSED WAS IDENTIFIED THROUGH FRS SYSTEM. 4 FROOTI TETRA PACKS (INC

INCIDENT:
On 05.06.26, complainant Deepak Dhillod, R/o Valmiki Nagar, Vileparle, East Mumbai lodged an online e-FIR No. 80046633/26, u/s 303(2) BNS at PS Kashmere Gate, Delhi. He reported that on 30.05.26, he had visited ISBT Kashmere Gate to board a bus for Sonipat, Haryana. At about 03:30PM, an unknown person met him in a friendly manner and offered him a Frooti for drinking. After consuming the Frooti, he became unconscious. When he regained his consciousness, he found that his 02 gold chains with locket, 01 wrist watch, wallet containing cash and documents were stolen. He suspected that the unknown person had administered some intoxicated substance in the Frooti due to which he became unconscious.

TEAM, INVESTIGATION AND OPERATION:
A dedicated team led by SI Naveen Sindhu, (I/C PP ISBT Kashmere Gate) comprising HC Atul Prashar, HC Vivek, HC Rohtash and Ct Piyush was formed under supervision of Inspr. Prashant Yadav, SHO/PS Kashmere Gate and guidance of Sh. Shankar Banerjee, ACP/Kotwali to nab the accused person and to recover the stolen articles.

The team analyzed the footage of CCTV cameras installed at ISBT, wherein one person was seen stealing the articles of the complainant. The photographs of the accused person were developed and sent to SI Vinod Walia (I/C Computer Cell/North) for identification through FRS system. After thorough analysis, the accused was identified as Philip @ Vicky, aged 35 years, r/o Sant Nagar Burari, Delhi and Permanent Address : Indra Vikas Colony, Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi.

Further, the team gathered information about the accused person and activated secret informers. On the evening of 19.06.2026, a tip off was received by the team that the accused was roaming in the area of ISBT Kashmere Gate. The team swiftly acted upon the information and rushed the place of information. The team laid a strategic trap and apprehended the accused person. On his personal search, four Frooti Tetra Packs (one tetra pack with drug pills, two normal tetra packs and one empty tetra pack) were recovered. Further at his instance, total 30 Tablets of Lorazepam IP 2 MG (Ativan 2 MG), one Black colour purse having complainant’s documents, One Guanqin wrist watch and clothes worn by him during the incident were recovered from his rented room at IP Colony, Swaroop Nagar Delhi.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI:
During interrogation, accused Philip @ Vicky disclosed that he usually roamed in the places like Bus terminals and target the gullible people visiting there from other states. He met the in friendly manner and offered soft drinks intoxicated with drug pills. When the people became unconscious, he stole their belongings and valuables. In the above case, he stole the bag and valuables of the complainant with similar modus operandi. He was committing the crime for the last 21 years and previously involved in 04 similar cases of different police stations of Delhi.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON:
Philip @ Vicky, aged 35 years, r/o Sant Nagar, Burari, Delhi (Permanent Address : Indra Vikas Colony, Near Nirankari Colony, Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi is a school dropout and alcoholic. His family kicked him out from the house and he was residing in a rented room at Swaroop Nagar, Delhi. He was previously involved in 04 cases of Drugging and Theft of different police stations of Delhi.

RECOVERY:
Four Frooti Tetra Packs (one tetra pack with drug pills, two normal tetra packs and one empty tetra pack).
Total 30 tablets of Lorazepam IP 2 MG (Ativan 2 MG).
One Black colour purse with original documents of complainant.
One Guanqin wrist Watch.
Cloths worn by the accused during the incident.
