सेंट्रल डिस्ट्रिक्ट पुलिस की बड़ी सफलता! थाना नबी करीम की टीम ने स्कूटी लूट की वारदात को महज़ 24 घंटे के भीतर सुलझा लिया। मामले में दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया, जबकि एक बाल अपचारी को पकड़ा गया। जांच के दौरान लूटी गई स्कूटी, वारदात में इस्तेमाल किया गया वाहन और एक चाकू भी बरामद किया गया। दिल्ली पुलिस की सतर्कता से अपराधियों के मंसूबों पर फिरा पानी।

BRIEF OF THE INCIDENT:

On 22.06.2026 at about 09:32 PM, information regarding a robbery/car-jacking incident was received at PS Nabi Karim. The complainant reported that at about 03:00 PM, his younger brother, aged about 24 years and residing in Nabi Karim, Delhi, along with his friend, had gone towards Bikaner Road from Tel Mill Gali. During their journey, a minor altercation took place after their scooty came into contact with another vehicle.

The three assailants allegedly threatened the complainant's brother and his friend with a knife, forcibly robbed their scooty and fled from the spot.

On the basis of the statement of the victim, supporting facts and circumstances, FIR No. 291/2026 dated 23.06.2026, U/s 309(4)/3(5) BNS was registered at PS Nabi Karim and investigation was taken up.

TEAM AND OPERATION:

Considering the gravity of the offence, a dedicated police team comprising SI Arvind Gautam (Investigating Officer), HC M.P. Singh and Ct. Sanjay was constituted under the supervision of the SHO, PS Nabi Karim, and the overall supervision of ACP, Paharganj, to investigate the case.

Immediately after receipt of the information, the team initiated a focused investigation. CCTV footage from the surrounding area was extensively analysed and local intelligence was developed. Through technical surveillance, sustained field enquiries and intelligence gathering, the team successfully identified the culprits involved in the robbery.

The police team worked relentlessly and succeeded in tracing and apprehending both adult accused persons and one CCL within 24 hours of registration of the case.

During the operation, the robbed scooty of the complainant as well as the scooty used by the accused persons during the commission of the offence were recovered. The knife used in the robbery was also recovered.

During the course of investigation, Sections 95/112 BNS and Sections 25/27 Arms Act have also been added to the case.

R/o Amarpuri, Nabi Karim, Delhi
Age: 16 years

INTERROGATION:

During sustained interrogation, the arrested accused persons and the apprehended CCL disclosed that they had robbed the victim's scooty with the intention of using it to commit further criminal offences.

Investigation further revealed that accused Rupesh @ Farman is a habitual and desperate criminal with a long criminal history involving robbery, snatching, theft, attempt to murder, assault and Arms Act cases.

RECOVERY:

* Robbed scooty of the victim.
* Scooty used in the commission of the offence.
* Knife used in the commission of the crime.
