तिलक नगर थाना पुलिस ने अवैध शराब के कारोबार पर बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए एक महिला तस्कर को गिरफ्तार किया है।

गिरफ्तार महिला थाना तिलक नगर की बैड कैरेक्टर (BC) घोषित अपराधी है और पहले भी दिल्ली आबकारी अधिनियम के 10 मामलों में शामिल रह चुकी है।

पुलिस ने उसके कब्जे से हरियाणा में बिक्री के लिए चिन्हित 350 क्वार्टर अवैध शराब बरामद की है।

दिल्ली पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई से अवैध शराब माफियाओं में हड़कंप मच गया है।

FEMALE BOOTLEGGER & BC OF PS TILAK NAGAR ARRESTED; 350 QUARTERS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR RECOVERED BY PS TILAK NAGAR

👉 One habitual bootlegger apprehended.
👉 350 quarters of illicit liquor meant for sale in Haryana only recovered.
👉 Accused is a Bad Character (BC) of PS Tilak Nagar.
👉 Previously involved in 10 cases under the Delhi Excise Act.

INCIDENT, INFORMATION & TEAM

As part of the ongoing drive against illicit liquor and to curb excise-related offences, vigilant patrolling was being carried out by the staff of PS Tilak Nagar under the guidance of senior officers of PS Tilak Nagar, with overall supervision of the undersigned.

On 09.07.2026 at about 4:00 PM, a team comprising
Ct. Dharampal No. 2279/W, HC Nalkesh No.2023/W and HC Shishram No. 325/W was on patrolling duty. While on patrolling duty in the area of PS Tilak Nagar, the staff noticed one suspicious woman carrying illicit liquor. On seeing the police, she attempted to flee from the spot, which aroused suspicion. The team immediately chased and apprehended her.

During checking, 350 quarters of illicit liquor meant for sale in Haryana only were recovered from her possession. She failed to produce any valid licence or permit for possessing or transporting the recovered liquor. The recovered liquor was sealed and seized as per law.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 265/2026 dated 09.07.2026 u/s 33/38 of the Delhi Excise Act was registered at PS Tilak Nagar. The accused was arrested after completion of all legal formalities.

👉 Ranjeeta W/o Baldev R/o Shyam Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Delhi, Age: 50 Years
👉 She is a Bad Character (BC) of PS Tilak Nagar and a habitual bootlegger. She has previously been found involved in 10 cases under the Delhi Excise Act.


RECOVERY
👉 350 Quarters of Illicit Liquor (For Sale in Haryana Only).
