BRIEF OF THE INCIDENT

On 06.06.2028, information regarding a Motor vehicle theft incident was reported at PS DBG Road. The complainant, R/o Joshi Road, Karol Bagh, reported that he had parked his schooty outside his residence at night and when he checked in the morning he found the scooty missing from the place of parking. He searched it in the nearby but no clue was assertained.

Accordingly, the case vide eFIR No. 012893/2026 U/s 305(B) BNS was register and investigation was taken up.


TEAM AND OPERATION

Considering the gravity of the offence, a dedicated police team of PS DBG Road compromising HC Suneet Kumar, HC Raju Singh, Ct. Ravi Kumar under the supervision of INSP/SHO DBG Road and all over supervision of ACP was constituted to trace and nab the offenders.

During the course of the investigation, the team thoroughly inspected the place of occurrence and examined CCTV footage from the spot and adjoining areas. After meticulous analysis of multiple CCTV recordings, the team succeeded in obtaining a clear image of the offender. The footage revealed that a young man had arrived at the spot and fled after stealing the scooty.

The CCTV footage was circulated among local informers, who were sensitized and motivated to identify the accused. As a result of sustained efforts and diligent follow-up, the accused was identified as Md. Adnan @ Pagal. Further verification revealed that he had been admitted to a drug de-addiction centre in Noida. Acting swiftly on the information, the police team reached the centre and successfully apprehended him.

R/o Sadar Bazar, Delhi
Age 26 years.

INTERROGATION

The accused was arrested and taken on police custody remand for further investigation. Efforts are being made to ascertain his involvement in other auto theft cases and to effect recovery of the stolen scooty.

RECOVERY

- Recovery of the stolen scooty is awaited.
- Sustained efforts are underway to trace and recover the stolen vehicle.
