दिल्ली पुलिस के ऑपरेशन मिलाप के तहत शाहदरा पुलिस ने एक गुमशुदा बच्चे को सुरक्षित खोजकर उसके परिवार से मिला दिया। धैर्यपूर्ण काउंसलिंग और त्वरित सत्यापन प्रक्रिया की मदद से बच्चे की पहचान सुनिश्चित की गई और परिवार की खुशियां वापस लौट आईं। शाहदरा पुलिस की इस सराहनीय पहल ने एक बार फिर मानवता और संवेदनशील पुलिसिंग की मिसाल पेश की है।

INCIDENT:-
As part of the ongoing Operation Milap, Shahdara District Police once again demonstrated its commitment towards child safety by successfully tracing the family of an unclaimed child and reuniting him with his loved ones.
On 11.07.2026, An information was received at PS Patparganj Industrial Area regarding an unclaimed child. The child was medically examined as per the prescribed procedure and was subsequently produced before the concerned authorities. He was then placed at Sanskar Ashram, Dilshad Garden, by the RCI for safe care and protection.
On 12.07.2026, Inspector Hukam Singh, under Operation Milap, deputed a dedicated team comprising ASI Kushal Pal, HC Rinku, and WCT Anuradha to visit the shelter home and interact with the unclaimed children.
During patient counselling and sustained interaction, the team gained the confidence of the child, who disclosed his name as Ramniwas. He informed the police that he had come to Delhi on his own to take a break without informing his family. He further provided the mobile number of his brother.
The police team immediately contacted the number, whereupon the child's brother confirmed that Ramniwas had been missing since 11.07.2026 and the family had been anxiously searching for him.
After completing all legal formalities and obtaining the necessary order from the Hon'ble Child Welfare Committee (CWC) on 14.07.2026, the child was safely handed over to his family.
The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Shahdara Police team for their dedicated efforts, sensitivity, and professionalism in tracing their missing family member. They appreciated the compassionate approach adopted by the police and thanked the entire team for ensuring the safe and lawful reunion of Ramniwas with his loved ones.
