भारत-इंग्लैंड मैच पर चल रहा ऑनलाइन सट्टा रैकेट बेनकाब! कीर्ति नगर पुलिस की बड़ी कार्रवाई, 5 आरोपी गिरफ्तार, 28 मोबाइल और 2 लैपटॉप बरामद!

दिल्ली के कीर्ति नगर थाना पुलिस ने भारत बनाम इंग्लैंड क्रिकेट मैच पर चल रहे ऑनलाइन सट्टेबाज़ी रैकेट का भंडाफोड़ कर बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। कार्रवाई के दौरान पांच आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। पुलिस ने मौके से 28 मोबाइल फोन, 2 लैपटॉप और अन्य इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण बरामद किए हैं। साथ ही सट्टेबाज़ी के रिकॉर्ड, लेन-देन की डिटेल और नेटवर्किंग डिवाइस भी जब्त किए गए हैंइस पूरे सट्टेबाज़ी नेटवर्क की कड़ियां खंगाली जा रही हैं और मामले में आगे की कार्रवाई जारी है।"

INCIDENT, INFORMATION & TEAM

As part of the ongoing drive against illegal gambling and cyber-enabled betting activities, the staff of PS Kirti Nagar has been continuously developing intelligence and conducting targeted operations against persons involved in online betting rackets.

On 16.07.2026, reliable secret information was received that an online cricket betting racket was being operated from a residential house in N-Block, Kirti Nagar, where betting on the ongoing India vs England cricket match was being conducted.

Acting swiftly on the information, a raiding team comprising Insp. Manish Kumar (ATO), SI Vineet, HC Jangjeet, HC Devender and HC Sandeep, under the leadership of Inspector Mahabir Singh, SHO/Kirti Nagar and Sh. Jai Prakash, ACP/Punjabi Bagh, with overall supervision of the undersigned, was constituted.

The team immediately reached the identified premises and conducted a surprise raid. Five persons were found indulging in online cricket betting. On noticing the team, they attempted to shut down their laptops and mobile phones to destroy digital evidence, but were swiftly overpowered by the alert staff.

During inspection, live betting interfaces were found operational on the electronic devices, revealing an illegal betting racket involving transactions worth lakhs of rupees.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 169/2026 dated 17.07.2026 u/s 3/4/5 of the Delhi Public Gambling Act, 1955 was registered at PS Kirti Nagar. During sustained interrogation, all accused confessed to their involvement and were arrested.

DETAILS OF ACCUSED

👉 Jatin Tandon R/o Sharda Puri, Delhi, Age 34 years. He employed in a private company and works from home. He got involved in online betting to earn easy money.

👉 Yogesh Goyal, R/o Hari Nagar, Delhi, Age 30 years. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He was involved in online cricket betting to earn easy money.

👉 Anmol R/o Vijay Vihar, Rithala, Delhi. Age 33 years, unemployed. He was previously engaged in family garment business. After suffering heavy losses, he turned to online betting to earn easy money.

👉 Shikhar Aggarwal R/o Rajinder Nagar, Delhi, Age 38 years (Found to be playing a key role in the racket)

👉 Mohit Dhingra R/o Sharda Puri, Delhi, Age 41 years. He left his job due to health issues and later turned to online betting to earn easy money.

RECOVERY

👉 28 Mobile Phones.
👉 02 Laptops.
👉 02 Audio Recorders and 01 Headphone.
👉 03 Notebooks containing betting records and transaction ledgers.
👉 01 Internet Router and 01 Jio Portable Wi-Fi Router.
👉 02 Laptop Chargers, 04 Mobile Chargers and 03 Extension Boards/Wires.

Further investigation is in progress to identify the mastermind, trace the financial transactions and unearth the complete network behind the illegal online betting syndicate.
