“दिल्ली पुलिस की सतर्कता से एक हथियारबंद अपराधी गिरफ्तार!

PS पटपड़गंज इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया की पुलिस टीम ने पेट्रोलिंग के दौरान रोड नंबर 56, ISBT आनंद विहार के पास 44 वर्षीय अकबर उर्फ इकबाल को गिरफ्तार किया।

आरोपी के कब्जे से एक देसी कट्टा और 3 जिंदा कारतूस बरामद हुए।

पुलिस के मुताबिक, आरोपी के खिलाफ पहले से 9 आपराधिक मामले दर्ज हैं, जिनमें आर्म्स एक्ट, चोरी और लूट से जुड़े मामले शामिल हैं।

मामले में आर्म्स एक्ट की धारा 25 के तहत FIR दर्ज कर आगे की जांच जारी है।

BRIEF:
In a significant preventive policing action, the staff of PS Patparganj Industrial Area apprehended an armed criminal during area patrolling near Road No. 56, Out Gate, ISBT Anand Vihar, Delhi, and recovered one country-made pistol along with 03 live cartridges from his possession. The arrest has prevented the possibility of any further criminal activity in the area and reflects the continued efforts of East District Police to identify and apprehend persons involved in illegal possession and use of firearms.

TEAM, INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION:
With the objective of curbing illegal possession of firearms and preventing street crimes, PS Patparganj Industrial Area has been developing intelligence regarding criminals involved in illegal arms and other criminal activities. A dedicated team comprising HC Sachin, Ct. Aditya and Ct. Dinesh, under the leadership of the SHO/PS PIA and close supervision of ACP/Madhu Vihar, was deployed for intensive patrolling and preventive checking.


PROFILE OF ACCUSED:
 Akbar @ Iqbal, aged 44 years, R/o Pappu Colony, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, resides with his family. He is illiterate and works as a labourer for his livelihood. During interrogation, he disclosed addiction to drugs.
