नाइट पेट्रोलिंग के दौरान PS मधु विहार की टीम ने सक्रिय स्नैचर देव पाल को गिरफ्तार किया।

आरोपी के कब्जे से प्रतिबंधित बटनदार चाकू और 2 चोरी के मोबाइल फोन बरामद हुए।

पुलिस के मुताबिक, बरामद मोबाइल मधु विहार के 2 चोरी के मामलों से जुड़े हैं।

On 15.08.2026, HC Sachin Tyagi along with HC Nishant was conducting area patrolling in the jurisdiction of PS Madhu Vihar. At about the relevant time, when the police team reached Utsav Ground, IP Extension, they noticed a suspicious person standing near the CNG wall. On seeing the police party, the person attempted to flee. The alert police personnel immediately chased and overpowered him. During cursory search, a prohibited button-actuated knife and two mobile phones were recovered from his possession. On interrogation, the person disclosed his identity as Dev Pal, aged 32 years, R/o Mandawali, Delhi. Accordingly, FIR No. 359/2026 dated 15.08.2026, under Section 25 Arms Act, was registered at PS Madhu Vihar and investigation was taken up. During investigation, the accused was arrested. The two recovered mobile phones were subsequently found to be stolen property involved in separate cases registered at PS Madhu Vihar. Further investigation is in progress.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:
Name: Dev Pal, aged 32 years, R/o Mandawali, Delhi.
 He is illiterate.
 Works as a labourer for livelihood.
 Addicted to drugs/alcohol, as disclosed during investigation.
 Belongs to Badaun, Uttar Pradesh.
 Recently became active in street crime, as per the investigation conducted so far.

RECOVERY:
 One prohibited button-actuated knife.
 One Oppo mobile phone, blue colour, linked with e-FIR No. 00739/2023, U/s 379 IPC, PS Madhu Vihar.
 One Motorola mobile phone, sky-blue colour, linked with e-FIR No. 80009914/2026, U/s 303(2) BNS, PS Madhu Vihar.
