आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड वाला बदमाश गिरफ्तार, देसी कट्टा और जिंदा कारतूस बरामद

पटपड़गंज इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया थाना पुलिस ने गश्त के दौरान एक शातिर बदमाश और थाना पांडव नगर के बीसी को गिरफ्तार किया।

आरोपी को गाज़ीपुर स्थित अफकॉन रोड के पास से दबोचा गया।

उसके कब्जे से एक देशी पिस्तौल और एक जिंदा कारतूस बरामद किया गया है।

पुलिस आरोपी से आगे की पूछताछ कर रही है।

BRIEF:
In a significant success against street crime and illegal possession of firearms, PS Patparganj Industrial Area has arrested a habitual criminal/BC and recovered one country-made pistol along with one live cartridge from his possession. The accused, identified as Deepak @ Hakla, aged 30 years, resident of Jhuggi Mahatma Gandhi Camp, Shashi Garden, Delhi, is a History-Sheeter/BC of PS Pandav Nagar and has eight previous criminal involvements. During interrogation, he disclosed his intention to commit theft/snatching using the illegal firearm. His timely apprehension by the vigilant police team not only prevented a possible criminal act but also led to the recovery of an illegal firearm from a known offender.

TEAM, INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION:
In view of the need to keep a close watch on habitual offenders and prevent street crime, the staff of PS Patparganj Industrial Area has been conducting patrolling and checking in the area of PS PIA. A dedicated team comprising HC Vikas Kumar Dhaka, HC Anuj Tomar and Ct. Jatin, under the leadership of SHO/PS Patparganj Industrial Area and close supervision of ACP/Madhu Vihar, was deployed for effective surveillance and prevention of crime.
On 19.08.2026 at about 3:00 PM, the police team was conducting area patrolling near Afcons Road, Gazipur, close to Murga Mandi Gol Chakkar, when they noticed a person moving suspiciously. On noticing the police team, the person suddenly became nervous and started running towards Murga Mandi Gol Chakkar in an attempt to escape. Showing alertness and swift response, the police personnel immediately chased and apprehended him after a brief chase. On being questioned about his conduct, he failed to provide any satisfactory explanation. During his cursory search, the police team recovered one country-made pistol and one live cartridge from his possession. The person was accordingly detained and his identity was established as Deepak @ Hakla, aged 30 years. During interrogation, the accused disclosed that he was carrying the illegal firearm with the intention of committing theft/snatching in the area. A case vides FIR No. 326/26 dated 19.08.26 U/s 25 Arms Act was consequently registered at PS Patparganj Industrial Area. The accused was found to be a BC/History-Sheeter of PS Pandav Nagar with multiple previous criminal involvements. Further investigation is being conducted to ascertain the source of the illegal firearm, his possible involvement in other criminal activities and the presence of any associates.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:
Deepak @ Hakla, aged 30 years,
Resident of Jhuggi Mahatma Gandhi Camp, Shashi Garden, Delhi, resides with his family.
Educational qualification: 10th standard
Occupation: Auto driver
The accused is reported to be addicted to intoxicating substances.
He is a History-Sheeter/Bad Character (BC) of PS Pandav Nagar.

PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENT:
The accused has been found involved in eight previous criminal cases:
1. FIR No. 55/2026, U/S 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Patparganj Industrial Area.
2. FIR No. 383/2025, U/S 304(2)/317(2)/3(5) BNS, PS Patparganj Industrial Area.
3. FIR No. 22/2025, U/S 303(2)/317(2) BNS, PS Hazrat Niz
