थाना टिलक नगर पुलिस ने लगातार निगरानी और गहन पेट्रोलिंग के दौरान सोनिपत, हरियाणा से दो सक्रिय वाहन चोरों को गिरफ्तार किया है।

आरोपियों के कब्जे और उनकी निशानदेही पर दो मोटरसाइकिल और एक स्कूटी समेत तीन चोरी के दोपहिया वाहन बरामद किए गए हैं।

इस कार्रवाई से थाना टिलक नगर और थाना राजौरी गार्डन के तीन वाहन चोरी के मामलों का खुलासा हुआ है।

गिरफ्तार दोनों आरोपी थाना टिलक नगर के बीसी हैं और इनके खिलाफ पहले से क्रमशः 12 और 14 आपराधिक मामले दर्ज हैं।

पुलिस की सतर्कता और लगातार निगरानी से वाहन चोरों पर शिकंजा कसा गया है।

PS TILAK NAGAR APPREHENDS TWO ACTIVE THIEVES FROM SONIPAT; THREE STOLEN TWO-WHEELERS RECOVERED

👉 Two active thieves apprehended from Sonipat, Haryana.
👉 Three stolen two-wheelers, including two motorcycles and one scooty, recovered.
👉 Three vehicle theft cases of PS Tilak Nagar and PS Rajouri Garden worked out.
👉 Both accused are BCs of PS Tilak Nagar, having 12 and 14 previous involvements, respectively.

INCIDENT, TEAM & INFORMATION

In pursuance of the directions of senior officers, the staff of PS Tilak Nagar was conducting intensified patrolling and surveillance under the supervision of Insp. Bineet Kumar Pandey SHO/Tilak Nagar.

On 20.08.2026 at about 07:00 AM, HC Manish Kumar Meena along with HC Dinesh, HC Naresh and Ct. Mahender was on patrolling duty when secret information was received regarding the presence of persons involved in theft of motorcycles in the area of Sonipat, Haryana.

Acting swiftly on the information, the team proceeded to Bahadurgarh, Sonipat, Haryana, along with the secret informer. On reaching the spot, the informer pointed towards two suspected persons. On seeing the team, both suspects attempted to flee but were immediately chased and apprehended.

The apprehended accused persons were identified as Sahil @ Leela, aged 27 years, and Rohit @ Goli, aged 25 years, both residents of Tilak Vihar, Delhi.

During sustained interrogation, both accused disclosed their involvement in theft of motorcycles and other two-wheelers. The Bajaj Pulsar-220 motorcycle found in their possession was verified and found to be stolen in E-FIR No. 18897/26 dated 13.08.2026, PS Tilak Nagar.

During further interrogation, both accused disclosed that they had concealed other stolen vehicles at different locations. At their instance, two more stolen two-wheelers were recovered. The scooty bearing registration No. DL4SDG4763 was found stolen in E-FIR No. 18133/26, PS Rajouri Garden, while the motorcycle bearing registration No. DL4SBS7145 was found stolen in E-FIR No. 33128/25, PS Tilak Nagar.

Both accused were arrested as per law.

👉Previous Involvements: 14 and BC of PS Tilak Nagar

RECOVERY

👉 Two stolen Motorcycles.
👉 One stolen Scooty.
