दिल्ली के ज्योति नगर थाना पुलिस ने एक स्नैचिंग केस को महज दो घंटे के अंदर सुलझाते हुए एक आरोपी स्नैचर को गिरफ्तार किया है।
पुलिस के मुताबिक, केस दर्ज होने के तुरंत बाद टीम ने तेजी से कार्रवाई शुरू की और आरोपी तक पहुंच बनाई।
आरोपी के पास से स्नैच किया गया मोबाइल फोन, वारदात में इस्तेमाल की गई मोटरसाइकिल, और घटना के समय पहने हुए कपड़े बरामद और जब्त किए गए हैं।
इस तेज कार्रवाई से पुलिस ने न सिर्फ आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया, बल्कि छीना गया मोबाइल और वारदात में इस्तेमाल सामान भी बरामद कर लिया।
The team of PS Jyoti Nagar has swiftly solved a snatching case within two hours of registration of the case with the arrest of a snatcher. The snatched mobile phone, motorcycle used in the commission of crime and clothes worn by the accused during the incident have been recovered/seized.
On 22.08.2026 at about 12:40 PM, complainant Abdul Asad (19 years), R/o Gali No. 1, Kabir Nagar, Kardampuri, Delhi, was walking towards Arogya Mandir Dispensary while talking on his mobile phone. Meanwhile, a person riding a motorcycle came from behind, snatched his mobile phone and fled from the spot.
Accordingly, FIR No. 375/2026 dated 22.08.2026 under Section 304(2) BNS was registered at PS Jyoti Nagar.
A dedicated team comprising ASI Naresh, HC Ankit, HC Amit and Ct. Anil Kumar, under the supervision of Inspr. Ved Prakash, SHO/PS Jyoti Nagar, immediately initiated investigation.
The team meticulously examined CCTV footage from the vicinity and developed local intelligence and technical leads. Acting on the collected clues, the team successfully traced and arrested the suspected accused within two hours of registration of the case.
The snatched mobile phone was recovered from his possession. The motorcycle used in the commission of the crime and the clothes worn by him at the time of the incident, as visible in the CCTV footage, were also seized. During sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed his involvement in 10 other cases of PS Jyoti Nagar. Efforts are being made to verify his disclosures and recover the case properties of the other cases.
