PS Civil Lines और PS Sarai Rohilla की टीमों ने दो सक्रिय और शातिर अपराधियों को गिरफ्तार किया है।
पुलिस के मुताबिक, गिरफ्तारी के बाद Robbery, Theft और Motor Vehicle Theft के 7 मामले सुलझाए गए हैं।
आरोपियों के कब्जे से एक country-made pistol, एक live cartridge, 5 stolen two-wheelers, एक stolen mobile phone और एक robbed purse बरामद किया गया है।
दोनों आरोपी Civil Lines और Keshav Puram, Delhi के सक्रिय अपराधी बताए गए हैं।

TWO DESPERATE CRIMINALS ARRESTED BY THE TEAMS OF PS CIVIL LINES AND PS SARAI ROHILLA, NORTH DISTRICT
07 CASES OF ROBBERY, THEFT AND MV THEFT HAVE BEEN WORKED OUT.
ONE COUNTRY MADE PISTOL WITH ONE LIVE CARTRIDGE RECOVERED.
05 STOLEN TWO-WHEELERS, ONE STOLEN MOBILE PHONE AND ONE ROBBED PURSE RECOVERED.
BOTH THE ACCUSED PERSONS ARE DREADED AND ACTIVE CRIMINALS OF THE AREAS OF CIVIL LINES AND KESHAV PURAM, DELHI.
1) INCIDENT OF PS CIVIL LINES:
On 14.08.2026, a complaint was received from Kripal S/o Ramavtar, R/o Village Nagariya Vikram, PS Faridpur, District Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, who stated that he works at Hisar. As per the complaint, on the intervening night of 13/14.08.2026, at about 03:00 AM, the complainant reached near Gurudwara Majnu Ka Tilla, Delhi, after travelling from Hisar by Haryana Roadways bus. While proceeding towards Pal Dairy, he sought directions to Kashmiri Gate from an unknown person near O-110, Aruna Nagar, Majnu Ka Tilla. The person asked him to follow him through a route leading towards ISBT. After taking the complainant into a narrow lane, the accused allegedly scuffled with him and removed his wallet from his trouser pocket, containing approximately ₹9,000 cash, Aadhaar Card and a photograph. The accused also attempted to snatch the bag being carried by the complainant, but the complainant managed to escape. On the basis of the complaint, FIR No. 332/2026 U/s 309(4) BNS has been registered at PS Civil Lines, and investigation has been taken up.
A dedicated team led by SI Akashdeep (I/C PP Majnu Ka Tilla) comprising ASI Ramawtar, HC Chetram, Ct Sitaram and Ct Jitesh was formed under the supervision of Inspr. Hanumat Singh, SHO/PS Civil Lines and guidance of SH. Rajendra Prashad, ACP/Civil Lines.
During investigation the team analyzed the footage of CCTV Cameras installed in the vicinity nearby the place of incident in which one person was seen who was followed by the complainant. The complainant also identified him. Further the team deployed secret informer and local intelligences. With the help of local intelligences he was identified as Vivek @ Kalu, R/o Aruna nagar Majnu Ka Tilla, Delhi. There after the team made sustained efforts to trace the accused person and with the help of secret informer he was apprehended by the team from the area of Badarpur 21.08.2026. At his instance, one purse containing the complainant’s Aadhaar Card and his photograph was recovered.
2) INCIDENT OF PS SARAI ROHILLA:
On 23.08.2026, a team comprising ASI Pushkar, HC Sandeep Kumar, HC Amit Kumar, HC Rambabu and Ct. Deepak was performing patrolling duty in the area under the supervision of Inspr. Chander Prakash Bhardwaj, SHO/PS Sarai Rohilla and guidance of Sh. Hariwansh Singh, ACP/Sarai Rohilla. During patrolling a secret information was received by the team regarding the movement of a person namely Ritik Kumar @ Golu, who was suspected to be involved in vehicle thefts and other criminal activities and was likely to be carrying an illegal firearm. Acting promptly on the information, the police team reached near Bharat Nagar Ganda Nala Pul, Shastri Nagar, Delhi, and kept a close watch on the area. At about 12:15 AM, the suspect was spotted and apprehended after sustained efforts. On his personal search one country-made pistol (desi katta) along-with one live cartridge was recovered from his possession. Accordingly, FIR No. 318/2026 dated 23.08.2026 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Sarai Rohilla, Delhi was registered and the further investigation was taken up.
During further investigation, the accused Ritik Kumar @ Golu was thoroughly interrogated and his criminal antecedents and activities were verified. It emerged that the accused was not only carrying an illegal firearm but was also actively involved in vehicle thefts. On sustained interrogation and continuous follow-up, the accused disclosed his involvement in several vehicle theft cases. The team immediately worked upon the leads and conducted sustained efforts to trace the stolen properties. As a result, 01 stolen mobile phone and 05 stolen two-wheelers (04 scooties and 01 motorcycle) were recovered at the instance of the accused. Verification of the recovered properties revealed that they were connected with cases registered at different police stations.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON:
1. Vivek @ Kalu, aged 22 years, R/o Aruna Nagar Majnu Ka Tilla, Delhi is school dropout and addicted to drug and alcohol. He was committing crime for the last 02 years. He was previously involved in 05 cases of Snatching, House Theft and Arms Act of PS Civil Lines. He is an active criminal of PS Civil Lines, Delhi.
2. Ritik Kumar @ Golu, aged 25 years, R/o Jhuggi, Kanhaiya Nagar, Tri Nagar, Delhi. He was previously involved in 22 cases of Robbery, Snatching, Theft, NDPS Act and Arms Act of different police stations of Delhi. He is History Sheeter (BC) of PS Keshav Puram and is also an externee from Delhi.
RECOVERY:
1. One purse containing Aadhar card and photo.
2. One country-made pistol (Desi Katta).
3. One live cartridge.
4. One stolen Relame mobile phone.
5. One stolen motorcycle.
6. 04 stolen scooties.
