CCTV से मिला सुराग, पुलिस की लगातार घेराबंदी में ऑटो-लिफ्टर गिरफ्तार!
कमला मार्केट थाना पुलिस की टीम ने लगातार CCTV फुटेज का विश्लेषण और स्थानीय खुफिया जानकारी के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए 25 वर्षीय ऑटो-लिफ्टर रमजान शेख को गिरफ्तार किया।
पुलिस ने आरोपी की पहचान कर उस तक पहुंचने के लिए लगातार निगरानी और तकनीकी जांच जारी रखी। कार्रवाई के दौरान आरोपी को दबोच लिया गया।
आरोपी की निशानदेही पर चोरी की Hero Honda Splendor मोटरसाइकिल भी बरामद की गई।

BRIEF OF THE INCIDENT
On 21.08.2026 at about 11:00 PM, information regarding the theft of a motorcycle was reported at PS Kamla Market. The complainant, a resident of Burari, Delhi, aged 30 years, reported that he had parked his Hero Honda Splendour motorcycle in front of Shop No. 3857, Shradhanand Marg, Delhi. About one and a half hours later, when he returned, he found the motorcycle missing from the spot. He searched the nearby area, but no clue was found.
Accordingly, e-FIR No. 019979/2026 dated 25.08.2026, U/s 305(b) BNS, was registered at e-Police Station, Kamla Market, and investigation was taken up.
TEAM & OPERATION
A dedicated team comprising HC Baldev and Ct Sanwar was constituted under the supervision of SHO Kamla Market and overall supervision of ACP Kamla Market to trace and nab the offender.
During the investigation, the duo meticulously checked and examined CCTV footage from cameras installed near the place of incident. Scrutiny of the footage revealed a suspect carrying away the motorcycle on foot and subsequently shifting it onto a rickshaw.
The suspect was seen to have a distinctive physical appearance, with a hump on his back. Accordingly, local intelligence was developed, and sustained efforts were made to trace him.
On 25.08.2026, acting on credible secret information, the suspect was apprehended from the GB Road area and was identified as Ramjaan Sheikh, aged 25 years.
ACCUSED ARRESTED
* RAMJAAN SHEIKH, AGED 25 YEARS, R/O VAGABOND.
INTERROGATION
During sustained interrogation, accused Ramjaan Sheikh disclosed that he earned his livelihood by begging. He further disclosed that on the night of 21.08.2026, he found a motorcycle parked near the railway wall in the GB Road area and decided to steal it with the intention of earning easy money by selling it.
He initially dragged the motorcycle after breaking its handle lock and subsequently shifted it onto a rickshaw by pretending that the motorcycle had suffered an engine breakdown.
Thereafter, he kept the stolen motorcycle with him, took it for a ride to check its engine and other aspects, and parked it at a secluded place near the MCD parking in the GB Road area. He was attempting to sell the motorcycle when he was apprehended.
RECOVERY
* 01 STOLEN HERO HONDA SPLENDOUR MOTORCYCLE RECOVERED.
