INCIDENT, INFORMATION & TEAM
On 16.06.2026, a specific information was received at STF/West District regarding illegal gambling and satta activities being conducted openly near Cement Siding, Punjabi Bagh. The informer further disclosed that several criminal elements frequently assembled at the location and indulged in gambling and satta operations.
Acting upon the information, a raiding team comprising SI Sudeep Punia, SI Yashaswi Khatri, ASI Ashok Kumar, HC Basant Kumar, HC Ajay Kumar and Ct. Prince Kumar led by Insp. Harbir Singh, Incharge STF/West was constituted.
The team immediately reached the spot and conducted a raid at the identified location. During the operation, ten persons were apprehended while indulging in gambling and satta activities through playing cards and satta slips.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of ACP/Ops west and under the overall supervision of the undersigned.

👉🏻Ashiq Lohar, aged 40 years
👉🏻Tohik Khan, aged 19 years
👉🏻Krishna, aged 27 years
👉🏻Manoj Kumar, aged 39 years
👉🏻Sunil Kumar, aged 36 years
👉🏻Akash, aged 29 years
RECOVERY
The following articles were recovered from the spot:

* 👉🏻35 sealed decks of playing cards
* 👉🏻156 loose playing cards
* 👉🏻20 satta slips
* 👉🏻One satta writing pad with carbon sheets
* 👉🏻One pen used for maintaining satta records
All recovered articles were seized as per law. The proceedings at the spot were documented through photography and videography using the e-Sakshya application.
FURTHER INVESTIGATION
Accordingly, FIR U/s 12/9/55 Delhi Public Gambling Act has been registered at PS Punjabi Bagh.
Further investigation is in progress to identify other persons involved in the gambling and satta syndicate and to ascertain the source and extent of the illegal operation.
