Tasking & Team
As directed by DCP/Dwarka District - Sh. Kushal Pal Singh IPS, a special drive against Proclaimed Offenders is on. In line with the same, a dedicated team was constituted to arrest and trace proclaimed offenders.
The team was headed by SHO Insp. Sunil Kumar and comprised:

- HC Ramchandra No. 293/DW
The entire operation was conducted under the overall close supervision of Sh. Kishor Kumar Rewala, ACP/Dwarka.
Information & Apprehension
The team worked on technical and manual information. On 12.06.2026, a secret information was received that proclaimed offender AKASH MEHULIYA @ CHINU S/O ASHOK KUMAR, who was declared P.O. on 28.01.2026 by Ld. JMFC Sh. Rahul Katare Dwarka Court, Delhi in e-FIR No. 20035/2025, U/S 305-B BNS, was changing his address to avoid arrest.
On the instance of secret information, the accused, Akash Mehuliya @ Chinu S/o Ashok Kumar R/o A-104, Air India Society, Sector 3, Dwarka, Delhi (Age 34 Yrs), was successfully apprehended from Dwarka Sec. 3.
He was declared PO on 28.01.2026 and was arrested vide DD No. 44A, Dated 12.06.2026 U/S 35.1 (D) BNSS, PS Dwarka North. He was declared PO in a Motor Vehicle Theft (MVT) case, and other serious cases like Attempt to murder, murder, and Cheating were also registered against the accused in the past.
